Hi! Very nice pack. But I have a question. Does this pack have animations of cars moving? And are there cars that move up and down or only left and right like in the screenshots?
oh no need to make a video for little old me! what was your process? I don't mind doing the work, I am just vexed by MV's tileset limitations (i'm used to working with tilesets in Godot which has been much more flexible in my experience)
Once you have installed the program, you can open a sample spritesheet. I’m not sure how it works in Godot, but in RPG Maker, I copied the example tileset and opened it in the program. Keep in mind that RPG Maker uses a 48x48 grid.
Then, I opened the city tileset in another window, copied the buildings I needed, and pasted them into the previously emptied example sheet.
In RPG Maker, the image is split in the middle, and the right half is placed below the left half. I’m not sure how it works in Godot.
If you have any questions, I have sent you a friend request—feel free to send me a message.
I apologize for the delay; I was very busy.
On the other hand, you’ve made me curious: What kind of game are you developing? (You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to, but I’d love to know!)
thank you so much!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond with such good advice, I'll check out LibreSprite next time I have some time to tinker!
This project is a small-scale RPG that takes place in a few city blocks, with a heavy focus on social interactions and hanging out with your party members. It's heavily inspired by Yakuza Like a Dragon and how much I loved the party chat dynamic in that game. I've been designing it for a while and have made a few prototypes in Godot, but ultimately decided to go the RPG Maker route since I'd rather be prototyping other kinds of projects while focusing more on writing and content generation for this one. Thanks for asking! What kind of project did you use this tileset for?

Hey, could I resize everything to make it compatible with RPG Maker MV?
hi! of course
hi! did you ever get these resized for RPGM MV? I'm struggling trying to get this pack working within there
Yes, but not just anything—only what I needed. It's easy. I will make a video for you in a few hours. Sorry, I'm busy today.

So, it's actually quite simple: I use a program called LibreSprite. It’s open-source and free. You can download it here: https://github.com/LibreSprite/LibreSprite?tab=readme-ov-file.

Is it okay to recolour the assets after buying? I am mixing other elements that have a specific pallete. Credits to art will be given of course.
Hi! Of course you can
Hi Dani.
You don't happen to have all the assets in separate files do you? I have purchased a tileset from you
What files do you need separated?
Just all assets in individual pngs. Only if you have them already. Don't go and do them for me.
nop sorry,i don't have them all separated
hey if i purchase this am i alound to use in a game that will be sold
Hi! Yeah of course
Good art mate. Please make a character pack compatible with this pack!
Hi, I'm interested in purchasing this tileset for a project. I just want to make sure you are ok with it being used for a game and commercial use.
The art is incredible and of course you would be credited.
Thank you!
Hi! Yes of course you can use it in commercial projects
are you Dani?
yes!
